Bill Clinton was just named "Father of the Year" by the National Father's Day Council. HAH! What a farce. The guy is a proven cheater and philanderer. So a guy who cheats on the mother is "Father of the Year"? What an upsidedown nation we've turned into!

Remember Former Pres. Clinton and Former Bush were on TV taking credit to take of the Haiti people a year ago. People still without homes. Also reminds on Satton Island/New York ... How easy to forget after the media and camera's are gone...

Clinton is a megalomaniac grandstander that you will find at any crisis to gain favorable publicity. But he leaves with the cameras. As soon as the news people pack their bags he's gone, off to find a new crisis someplace else. I would trust a snake before I would trust him.

Nope, Pres Clinton loves golf and cigars. He'll enjoy those at Monarch Links. Patient Safety and Father of the Year (this one is as silly as the Nobel Peace Prize for #44)? Don't think so. Humanitarian of the Year? Sure, why not. If I had a vote, I'd vote for him for his Haiti work. I'd even split my vote for #42 & #43. But to be clear, this is about a golf venue. #43 has no expertise regarding patient safety.

The last time I got a raise as a teacher was when Pres. Clinton was in office. He's a smart guy and a great President. And let's remember that SURPLUS he left after his term ended.

I don't get it with him. He was a Rhodes scholar and is very familiar with Caroll Quigley. Now he is out endorsing Obama and those things which Caroll Quigley would be absolutely against. What the hell is up?

Sounds more like you aren't as informed about Quigley, as you may think, rather than there is any contradiction to Clinton's support of Obama. Quigley was always walking a line of conspiracy theories and in today's world, conspiracy theories are infinitely more popular with conservative media (talk radio, fringe conservative fake news sites, Hannity and previously Glenn Beck on Fox, et al), so if you tend toward these sources, you are probably getting more cherry picked quotes meant to support other conspiracy theories being put forth with a conservative agenda. But when you look at his work and the focus on Wall Street and the idea that there was a wealthy elite infrastructure with the goal of sucking the wealth from the greater society to put it in the hands of this elite circle, the contradiction would have been if somebody who really read Quigley wasn't in support of Obama. That was basically the theme of this past election cycle. Quigley's personal views about this elite class can become ambiguous, but decades after his work, it becomes clear that in this case; his conspiracy theory of an infrastructure that squeezes the wealth of nations up into a small, financially elite class, would appear to have been correct.

In the last Congress HR1489 (Glass-Steagall) had over 100 co-signers. It was reintroduced as HR129 in the Congress, and this is the one policy that would judo-chop was Quigley exposed? And who is the captain of our ship who is instead steering a course the other way by for instance creating new debt for us in exchange for the near worthless mortgage backed securities of the large banks at a clip of 45B/month.

Wow, that must have been one helluva happy hour. That was one of the most incoherently written posts that I have seen in a while. Just sending an acknowledgement that I saw that you responded, but I certainly can't try to engage with something that sounds more like a word jumble than some sort of explanation of how well you understand Quigley. Let me know once you get the judo chop analogies or Captain STubbing or whatever you were trying to write and then just write something that makes some sort of intelectual sense to whatever point that you are trying to make. And before you do any of it, make sure that your exposure to Quigley isn't something dopey like a cross reference from Breitbart, but that you have some actual intelectual readings on the subject.

You're commended on knowing something about Quigley. But then ........ you're slip is showing.

Also, are you the same tiny that keep setting up new accounts, blurting out conservative nonsense and then closing out and starting a new tiny account under a different Patch site? We keep seeing a bunch of brain fart posts from people signing up called Tiny and then when you look at the posting history, it is always a new "tiny" profile. Just like this one.
