After Hours on Crown Valley
The city begins night work on its main thoroughfare, which will be subject to delays until January 2013.
Construction has begun to widen Crown Valley Parkway near Interstate 5. Some of the work is being done at night, as shown in these photos taken Sunday at 9:35 p.m. at the corner of Crown Valley and Cabot.
The $11-million widening project won't be finished until January 2013. City officials said the night work is necessary because much of the bridge construction must be done when freeway and railroad traffic is minimal.
