Woman Pulls Knife on Taxi Driver in Dana Point

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff's Department from January 16–17.

A taxi driver picked up a female from the Jack in the Box, and while driving, she pulled a knife on him, demanded her credit card back and then took off running. The incident occurred on Sunday, January 17 at 3:06 a.m. at the 34100 block of Pacific Coast Highway in Dana Point.

Sunday, Jan. 17:

Assist Outside Agency 9:19 p.m. Canterbury/Oakmont Plazas. A 6-8 foot mountain lion was seen entering the bushes near the location.

Suspicious Person 6:21 p.m. 27700 block of La Paz Road. A male transient was reportedly standing outside the bushes watching women exercise.

Saturday, Jan. 16:

Citizen Assist 10:51 p.m. 23700 block of Hillhurst Drive. A caller reported that she had a feeling a male was having inappropriate thoughts towards her.

Burglary Report 9:11 p.m. 28900 block of Crown Valley Parkway. A caller reported that someone broke into his locker while he was in the shower at the Laguna Niguel Community Park, and stole his personal belongings. He was then stranded there in a towel.
