Woman Killed in Crown Valley Crash with Tree ID'd
A Mission Viejo woman died after crashing into a tree in Laguna Niguel early Tuesday morning.
A woman who died after hitting a tree on Crown Valley Parkway has been identified.
Christal Schrader, 31, of Mission Viejo, died at the scene of the crash, according to the Orange County coroner.
Schrader was driving just east of Central Park Drive when she struck a tree in the center divider, said Lt. Dan Dwyer of the Orange County Sheriff's Department. Police were notified around 3 a.m.
Someone with the victim's name pled guilty to driving at speeds greater than 100 MPH in 2007, driving at unsafe speeds in 2009 and other hazardous driving citations according to Orange County Superior Court records.
