Woman Drives into Tree on a Laguna Niguel Street, Dies
The driver struck a tree in the center divider on Crown Valley Parkway, sheriff's deputies report.
A woman was killed this morning when the vehicle she was driving struck a tree in the center divider of Crown Valley Parkway in Laguna Niguel, a sheriff's lieutenant said.
The crash just east of Central Park Drive was reported at 2:59 a.m., said Lt. Dan Dwyer of the Orange County Sheriff's Department.
The woman was the vehicle's only occupant. She was pronounced dead at
the scene, Dwyer said.
The Orange County Coroner's office has yet to release her identity.
