A moving truck crashed into a carport in Mission Viejo today, causing the structure to collapse onto five cars but injuring no one, authorities said.

It happened at 5 p.m. at the Vista Real Apartments at 27260 Los Altos, according to the Orange County Fire Authority.

Two of the cars were crushed, according to the OCFA.

"Our new neighbors did a special entrance today," said witness Daniel Orozco.

A building inspector was summoned to the scene, the fire authority reported.

Andy, of course it will. The truck either turned left or right! :)

How captivating! A couple of cars in a city far away from us here in SJC are scratched. Wow, thank you New Patch. That really had a big impact on my life.

@Eric Bergstrom, yes 8 miles is sooooo far - what a travesty that it was posted to show up in the SJC feed. Make sure to post your disappointment that this story, which had no impact on your life, was even reported by ABC as well: http://abclocal.go.com/kabc/story?section=news/local/orange_county&id=9509700
