An Impromptu High Wire Act in Park

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff's Department from Feb. 25–26.

A caller reported that at Pines Park, seven people were “flat lining,” which he referred to as tying rope between the trees and walking on it as if it were a high wire. The caller reported that this was an ongoing problem around 5 p.m. every day. The incident occurred on Tuesday, Feb. 26 at 6:05 p.m. at the cross roads of Camino Capistrano and Calle Lome in Dana Point.

Tuesday, Feb. 26:

Suspicious Person 3:58 p.m. 29200 block of Crown Valley Parkway. A caller reported that she possibly saw a drug deal between three males at the baseball fields at Crown Valley Elementary School. They got out of a dark blue pickup, with a lid over the bed, and one male ran into the bushes and came out with a package that was tied up.

Suspicious Person 7:50 a.m. 34000 block of Granada Drive. A caller reported that there was a large amount of blood in his backyard. He didn’t see or hear anything the night previously. (Dana Point)

Monday, Feb. 25:

Suspicious Person 2:56 a.m. Aliso Creek/La Paz Roads. A caller reported that a Nordic Security Officer was passed out or asleep in his patrol car and blocking traffic.

Citizen Assist 2:55 p.m. 32400 block of Via Antibes. A caller reported that subjects were drinking in the basement behind his home, and were throwing lemons at his window. The incident occurred two nights prior to the report. (Dana Point)
