Services for Woman Killed in Train Tracks Crash Wednesday
Services for Esther Marino, 76, who died in a car crash near the Avery Metrolink train station tracks, will be at 10 a.m. in Dana Point.
Funeral services for 76, who died in a car crash June 22, will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church in Dana Point, according to McCormick & Son in Laguna Hills.
Mass will be followed by interment at El Toro Memorial Park, 25751 Trabuco Road in Lake Forest.
Marino died June 22 when her car jumped the curb at Starr Drive, went through a greenbelt, over a chain-link fence and hit the train tracks below. She had no apparent medical condition, officials reported Friday.

According to O.C. sheriff's spokesman Jim Amormino, further testing and toxicology reports, which could take a few weeks.
Her Toyota Camry had been traveling at high speed before the crash. No one else was hurt, officials said.

The crash caused major traffic tie-ups, including the closure of the southbound 5 freeway off-ramp at Avery Parkway. Metrolink trains were also delayed for several hours.
According to Marino's Facebook page, she was born in Hoboken, NJ, and attended Demarest High School. She liked Dancing with the Stars and 1950s movies.
She is survived by her husband, Louis; sons Nicholas and Anthony; daughter Debbie; and three grandchildren.
The crash investigation continues, officials said.
