Woman, 48, Arrested in Alleged Cookie Drug Deal

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff's Department from Sept. 27-28 in Laguna Niguel.

A woman reported a man driving a black Suburban or Escalade on Sorrento/Montecito streets passed by her 48-year-old daughter and gave her “cookies,” and offered her marijuana on Sept. 28 at 8:38 p.m. He then asked the daughter if she wanted to "go do a deal." According, to arrest records she is a teacher, and was arrested after accepting the cookies on the 25900 block of Montemar at 8:47 p.m., and later released.

Friday, Sept. 28:

Disturbance 6:28 p.m. A man reported his neighbors were throwing produce at his home. He believed they were trying to use his pool as a target. 

Follow Up Report 10:34 a.m. 24300 block of El Pilar. A man reported he found his own “stolen” blue truck at his mom’s house.

Thursday, Sept. 27:

Disturbance 6:26 p.m. Crown Valley Parkway/Cabot Road. A caller reported a 20-year-old woman was beating a 20-year-old man near the entrance to the Rolling Hills community (between Cabot and Greenfield). The man was lying on the ground. As of the reported incident date, the man was arrested and in custody.

Disturbance 4:33 a.m. 34000 block of El Encanto Avenue. A woman reported her female neighbor in the rear, upstairs apartment was screaming and throwing beer bottles off her balcony into the alley. She was in her 50s. (Dana Point).
