Medically Fragile Woman Goes Missing in Laguna Niguel

Orange County Sheriff's deputies are hoping the public will assist in the search.

Orange County Sheriff’s deputies are asking the public’s help in tracking down a missing person who may be in need of medication.

Alicia Flores Coto, 78, was last seen at 10:30 this morning leaving her Laguna Niguel residence, an Orange County Sheriff’s Department press release says.

Coto suffers from several medical issues, and may be in need of medication, according to the news release. She also uses walker but left her residence without it.

Authorities believe Coto left her home, on Pallazo, on foot, as she does not have a car. They also believe she may have left without identification and possibly no money.

Coto is described as Hispanic, 4 feet, 8 inches, 91 pounds with salt-and-pepper hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a brown sweater.
