Man Wants Carpet Cleaner Back

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff's Department from Oct. 19-20 in Laguna Niguel.

A man reported to deputies he wished to retrieve his carpet cleaner another man took from him, after they had an altercation the previous night. The incident occurred on Friday, Oct. 19 at 4:48 a.m. on the 33700 block of the street of the Violet Lantern in Dana Point.

Here are more items from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department blotter. All incidents were reported within Laguna Niguel unless otherwise noted.

Saturday, Oct. 20:

Suspicious Person 2:45 p.m. 30200 block of Pacific Island Drive. A caller reported a 62-year-old man who lives at the Niguel Summit Apartments, was trying to give candy to the younger children in the complex.

Indecent Exposure 1:04 p.m. Aliso Creek/La Paz Roads. A man was masturbating through his clothes, in front of Whole Foods. He was in his 50s and wearing a black cap, white button-down, black shorts and sandals.

Friday, Oct. 19:

Assault With Deadly Weapon 5:45 p.m. Avery 28400 block of Silverton Drive. A woman reported her mother attacked her with a knife and spit on her. She suffers from unknown medical issues, but it was unknown whether she was bi-polar or had Alzheimer’s disease.

Disturbance-Music or Party 8:58 p.m. 34000 block of Colegio Drive. A caller reported a party was going on behind the given location, with underage drinkers tasering each other. Another party was also going on across the street from the location, with a possible fight breaking out. (Dana Point)
