Kiss Attempt Leads to Arrest

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff's Department from Nov. 27-28 in Dana Point and Laguna Niguel.

A caller reported a man grabbed her 18-year-old daughter in the parking lot and tried to kiss her. The man was in his 40s, 6' feet tall, with gray hair, wearing a gray sweater and black backpack. He was arrested and released. The incident occurred on Tuesday, Nov. 27 at 12:18 p.m. at the 34200 block of Pacific Coast Highway in Dana Point.

Wednesday, Nov. 28:

Keep the Peace 12:54 a.m. 32400 block of the street of the Golden Lantern. A caller reported a customer’s backpack and computer was stolen, possibly by another customer at the bar at Fred’s Mexican Café. The alleged thief told an employee that he was told to take the bag outside by another person.

Disturbance 6:49 p.m. 24400 block of Los Serranos Drive. A caller referenced that his neighbor kept calling him names as he drove by.

Tuesday, Nov. 27:

Disturbance 11:23 a.m. 34000 block of El Encanto Avenue. A caller reported a woman at the location had been yelling and screaming profanity since 8 a.m. (Dana Point).

Assist Outside Agency 3:32 p.m. Pacific Park Drive/Heather Ridge Road. A customer was possibly having a seizure in the freezer section of Costco. He was struggling to breath and had blood coming out of his mouth. The Orange County Fire Authority was enroute.
