Mom Allegedly Beats Child Near Grocery Store

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff's Department from Nov. 6-7. in Laguna Niguel.

A caller reported a blonde woman standing by a black Toyota at Ralphs and allegedly beating her 5-year-old. The child was screaming. The incident was reported at 8:51 p.m. on Nov. 6, on the Street of the Golden Lantern/Camino del Avion.

Wednesday, Nov. 7:

Suspicious Person 7:49 p.m. 0 block of Mercato. A man reported his neighbor was outside working on his car with his floodlights on, and claimed he was high on meth. He allegedly sells it along with other drugs.

Petty Theft 1:06 p.m. 27400 block of Alicia Parkway. A woman reported her purse was taken from her shopping cart at Walmart, when she left it unattended for 10 minutes.

Tuesday, Nov. 6:

Investigate Person Down 10:02 p.m. Forbes Road/Crown Valley Parkway. A caller reported a man was passed out on the corner of the sidewalk, in front of Chevron. People were passing by taking pictures. The man was found to have had a seizure, and was transported to Mission Hospital by the Orange County Fire Authority.

Citizen Assist 4:06 a.m. 0 block of Baycrest Plaza. A woman reported a neighbor allegedly broke into her residence, took her old phone books, and clothing, and then broke in again and stole a blanket.
