Husband Hides Backpack From Wife

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff's Department from Nov. 29-30 in Laguna Niguel and Dana Point.

A woman reported her 51-year-old husband hid her backpack from her and she needed it for work. The incident occurred on Thursday, Nov. 29 at 7:14 p.m. at the 24800 block of Hidden Hills Road.

Friday, Nov. 30:

Suspicious Person 3:19 a.m. 0 block of Vis Del Mar. A woman reported several subjects were knocking on her front door and putting “small, thin, sharp objects” under it. She first described them as knives, but would give no further description. (Dana Point)

Suspicious Person 6:19 p.m. 0 block of Vis Montemar. A caller reported three men picked the lock on the front door of the residence and went inside. The house was vacant and under construction. One of the men was wearing a hat. They were found to be construction workers.

Thursday, Nov. 29:

Disturbance 2:37 p.m. 29900 block of Alicia Parkway. A barefoot, 50-year-old man at Albertsons was being obnoxious with a manager and employees, and accusing them of stealing his bike.

Suspicious Vehicle 6:21 p.m. 29500 block of Colebrook Drive. A caller reported a man possibly followed her daughter while driving home, parked in front of her residence, got out of his car, then got back in and drove away.
