Two robbers, one with a handgun, forced their way into a Laguna Niguel apartment Thursday morning and stole some marijuana, authorities said.
Two people were in the residence in the 24000 block of Malvista Way when the robbery occurred just before 12:15 a.m., said Orange County sheriff's Lt. Jim England.
It was not immediately clear how much marijuana was stolen by the two male intruders or if it was legally possessed by the victims, England said, adding that it didn't appear that marijuana was being grown in the apartment.
The apartment is in an upscale neighborhood. Neither victim was hurt, England said.
