Hockey Mom Retrial Hearing Postponed Again

The sentencing and retrial for Kathia Maria Davis was rescheduled on Monday for the Laguna Niguel resident on Dec. 5.

Sentencing and a retrial hearing scheduled Monday for  who was convicted of sexually assaulting her son's then-16- year-old friend in her Laguna Niguel home was postponed again.

The new hearing date is scheduled for Dec. 5, according to Deputy District Attorney Jennifer Walker because she is involved in another trial.

Davis was arrested in September 2011.

Jurors deadlocked on charges related to a 13-year-old boy, so the hearing will consider how to proceed with another possible trial on those charges. Sentencing is expected to be delayed until after a retrial on the remaining charges.
