Group Decides to Use Couch As Firepit

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff's Department from Dec. 9 -10 in Dana Point and Laguna Niguel.

A caller reported a group of individuals were in the courtyard, using a couch as a firepit and smoking illegal drugs. The incident occurred on Monday, Dec. 10 at 6:49 p.m. in Dana Point.

Monday, Dec. 10:

Suspicious Person In Vehicle 4:42 p.m. Niguel Ranch/Oxford Drive. A caller reported two tractor trailers were parked back-to-back on Niguel Ranch Drive. Individuals were unloading unknown packages into them. 

Sunday, Dec. 9:

Investigate Person Down 3:46 p.m. 25000 block of Dana Drive. A caller reported a woman by old the Jolly Roger parking lot was lying in a planter. She may have been drunk. (Dana Point)

Patrol Check 8:26 a.m. Cabot Road/Paseo de Colinas. A man reported he witnessed someone running away from a car. There was glass on the ground. The passenger window was shattered, the gas tank cover was open and the cap was missing, indicating a possible burglary. The car was a Nissan 350Z Coupe.
