A two-alarm blaze broke out today in a large home in Laguna Hills, but firefighters were able to salvage many of the owners' belongings and no one was injured.

About five dozen firefighters were dispatched at 10:34 a.m. to the 25200 block of Buckskin Drive, Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Steve Concialdi said.

A housekeeper was inside the two-story, 5,200-square-foot custom residence when the blaze broke out, but the residents -- a married couple and their son -- were away, Concialdi said.

“Firefighters did a great job saving some of the computers and some of their other personal belongings, and the family was very pleased,” Concialdi said.
