Woman Bangs Pole on Pedestrian Bridge

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff's Department from Oct. 5-6 in Laguna Niguel.

A woman wearing Army green clothing and a hat was jumping into traffic on Del Prado/Pacific Coast Highway, and banging a pole on the pedestrian bridge. The incident occurred on Friday, Oct. 5 at 4:07 p.m. in Dana Point.

Saturday, Oct. 6:

Disturbance 11:54 a.m. Pacific Coast Highway/Crown Valley Parkway. A caller reported a man driving a white van was shooting a pellet gun at passing cars. (Dana Point)

Disturbance 10:14 p.m. 24700 Block of Dana Point Drive. A caller reported several minors were in the parking lot near the Sailing Club, and one vomited on a car. (Dana Point)

Friday, Oct. 5:

Suspicious Person 9:32 a.m. Hidden Hills Road/Street of the Golden Lantern. A man was in the park with a metal detector and shovel, and was digging up the grass, causing children to fall when they played. The caller received the information secondhand.

Disturbance-Family Dispute 8:35 a.m. 29700 Block of Niguel Road. A woman reported her boyfriend hit her. The boyfriend claimed his girlfriend threw the remote control at him, and it hit him in the leg. The Orange County Fire Authority was refused.
