Female Allegedly Burglarizes Home of Deceased

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff's Department from January 24–25.

A caller reported that a female entered a Fountain Glenn apartment that was sealed off by the coroner. She allegedly stole all of the property inside. The incident occurred on Friday, January 25 at 4:53 p.m. at the 25500 block of Camino Los Padres in Laguna Niguel.

Friday, Jan. 25:

Disturbance 5:52 p.m. 28100 block of Moulton Parkway. A caller reported that a neighbor of hers in the Palms apartment complex blocked her vehicle in twice, and slammed her barbeque down on the patio as if she wanted it to break through into the caller’s patio.

Petty Theft 1:41 p.m. 33600 block of Del Obispo Street. A 50-year-old female stole 2 bottles of Sky vodka from Albertson’s and then got on the bus. The manager didn’t wish to prosecute but she was not allowed to return to the store. The subject had a band-aid on her nose and was wearing a blue beanie, gray sweatshirt and gray sweatpants. Thursday, Jan. 24:

Disturbance 8:08 p.m. Pacific Island/Talavera Drives. A caller reported that 2 subjects were setting off sky lanterns, and he was concerned that they would start a fire in the area.

Keep the Peace 5:40 p.m. 29100 block of Via Cerrito. A caller reported that a neighbor in the area constantly harasses children. The caller’s 8-year-old daughter went to the community mailbox to collect mail for her grandmother, and was screamed at and followed home by the subject.
