Drunk Neighbor Rants ‘The Japanese Are Coming,’ Bloodied Woman Flees 2 Men

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff's Department on April 28 in Laguna Niguel.

A caller reported that her neighbor was in his yard yelling and screaming that the Japanese were coming to get him. He was also cursing. The man had been drinking, and reports of these activities had been reported before. The incident occurred at 11:26 a.m. at the 28800 block of Placida Avenue.

Here are more items from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department blotter. All incidents were reported within Laguna Niguel unless otherwise noted.

Sunday, April 28:

Disturbance: 1:39 a.m. 28600 block of Avenida Del Caballo. A caller reported that a woman ran out of the house to the right of the location screaming and bleeding. Two men were chasing her.

Disturbance: 7:05 p.m. 27400 block of Embassy Way. A caller reported that her husband shoved her and punched her in the shoulder. She refused medics.

Disturbance: 9:15 a.m. 25600 block of Hampton Drive. A caller reported that her soon-to-be ex husband came to pick up his property and instead broke common property inside the residence.
