D.P. Marina Inn Employee Allegedly Threatens Guest With 6-Inch Stiletto

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff's Department from Dec. 15-16 in Dana Point and Laguna Niguel.

A guest at the Dana Point Marina Inn claimed an employee threatened to stab her with her 6-inch stiletto. The incident occurred on Saturday, Dec. 15 at 10:30 p.m. at the 24800 block of Dana Point Harbor Drive in Dana Point.

Sunday, Dec. 16

Disturbance 1:18 p.m. 34000 block of Doheny Park Road. A caller reported  a man who rents a room from him at the Beachwood Mobile Estates, threw a temper tantrum and left the premises. The caller asked for a welfare check on the man due to a language barrier. (Dana Point)

Suspicious Person 12:05 p.m. Pacific Coast Highway/Niguel Road. A caller reported a male transient was walking near Strands Beach, and appeared to be beaten up and barely able to walk. He was wearing green fatigues. (Dana Point)

Welfare Check 9:26 p.m. 243000 block of Toponas Court. A woman called 9-1-1 and asked to be connected to her attorney. She stated her attorney, 4-1-1, the non-emergency police number and the operator all hung up on her. The woman could not grasp 9-1-1 was for life-threatening emergencies.

Suspicious Person 3:35 p.m. 0 block of Russel Lane. A caller reported four youths were on the edge of the park overlooking the canyon, with binoculars and a long gun. The caller was unsure whether it was a BB gun or an actual gun. The youths were behind the Beacon Hill condo/ apartments.
