Police and paramedics investigated the body of a 45-year-old woman found in Capistrano Beach Tuesday evening.
A caller reported the body in the alley behind Big 5 Sporting Goods at about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday -- the 34100 block of Doheny Park Road.
The Orange County Coroner's Office identified the woman Wednesday morning as Brenda Lee Fox. An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday to determine the exact cause of death.
Lt. Joe Balicki of the Orange County Sheriff's Department said reports indicate that no foul play was apparent in the death; no homicide detectives were dispatched.
