The driver of a truck at Crown Valley Elementary was found asleep and could not be roused by school staff, principal Anthony Bogle said in an email to parents Friday morning.
The driver was discovered around 8:45 a.m.
"A gentleman was asleep in his truck and could not be woken up despite pounding on the truck’s windows," Bogle said.
Firefighters and police responded, towing the truck around 10 a.m. and taking the man away from the school, the principal said.
"At this point the incident is being regarded as a medical call," Bogle said. "At no time were any students or staff members in danger."
