Crime: Women Pretend to Deliver Flowers; Man Limps Through Neighborhood

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff’s Department August 7. All incidents were reported within Laguna Niguel unless otherwise noted.

Wednesday, August 7:
Citizen Assist. 8:18 a.m. Unknown block. A caller reported that two women who may have been wearing wigs tried to get into the community by pretending to deliver flowers to the residence.

Information Report. 8:50 p.m. Unknown block of Bawley Street. A caller reported that her 7-year-old son came home from his father’s house with bruises on his buttocks.

Suspicious Person/Circumstances. 1:48 p.m. 24600 block of Camden Court. A caller reported that a man was limping through the complex. When she asked him if he needed help, he told her he was exercising his injured leg, but he allegedly told another story several weeks ago to another neighbor. The caller stated that he doesn’t live in the neighborhood. The man was 5’7 and was wearing a black shirt and jeans.

Disturbance. 11:27 p.m. 27400 block of La Paz Road. A caller reported that 6-7 men were walking in the back of the parking lot of Home Depot yelling that they were going to beat someone up. No weapons were seen.

Traffic Accident, Non-Injury. 11:37 p.m. La Paz Road/Shelley Road. A caller reported that she hit her gray Toyota Camry into the center median and refused medics. She stated that she was sleepy and that’s why she crashed. The desk believed she might have been drinking.
