Crime: Wife Threatens to Hit Husband’s Car With Baseball Bat

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff’s Department July 16-17. All incidents were reported within Laguna Niguel unless otherwise noted.

Tuesday, July 16:
Citizen Assist. 1:01 a.m. 27700 block of Niguel Village Drive. A caller reported that he had an argument over the phone with his soon-to-be ex-wife. She threatened to slash his tires and hit his vehicle with a baseball bat.

Assist Outside Agency. 7:35 p.m. Fairlane Road/Ocean Ridge. A caller reported that people were following a bobcat. Fish and Game was advised.

Wednesday, July 17:
Petty Theft Report. 11:16 a.m. 23900 block of Aliso Creek Road. A caller reported that a woman walked out of Whole Foods with a couple hundred dollars worth of merchandise and when asked for a receipt, she left in a gray Ford Taurus.

Traffic Hazard. 11:20 a.m. Street of the Golden Lantern/Crown Valley Parkway. A caller reported that a truck dumped a large amount of bricks in the intersection.

Keep the Peace. 12:49 p.m. 24200 block of El Pilar. A caller reported that his neighbor threw eggs at his window the previous night and put an unknown liquid on his door. He was concerned for his family’s safety. The neighbor was female and in her 40s.
