Crime: Strange Man With Chainsaw; Woman Possibly On Meth

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff’s Department July 12-13. All incidents were reported within Laguna Niguel unless otherwise noted.

Friday, July 12:
Citizen Assist. 2:51 p.m. 25000 block of Sanoria Street. A caller reported that she had been plagued with static sensations since WiFi was installed in her neighborhood.

Suspicious Person/Circumstances. 9:32 p.m. 27200 block of Alicia Parkway. An employee at Radio Shack reported that she was the last one in the store, and there was a male in the parking lot that she believed she saw earlier with a chainsaw. She wanted a deputy to escort her to her car. The man was older and wearing a gray t-shirt and jean shorts.

Disturbance. 10:16 p.m. Unknown block of Mallorca. A caller reported that eight people were toilet-papering residences. A silver pickup truck was following them around and appeared to be their getaway.

Saturday, July 13:
Suspicious Person/Circumstances. 12:40 a.m. 23300 block of Cheswald Drive. A caller reported that the neighbor to the left of the reported location was away and her three dogs were barking and growling. She stated that was very unusual for them. She wanted someone to check the property.

Disturbance. 8:55 p.m. 27400 block of Alicia Parkway. A caller reported that a woman inside the convenience store at the Mobil appeared to be on meth. She was being verbal with people.
