Crime: Man Singing in a Courtyard; Neighbor Possibly Selling Weed

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff’s Department August 2-3. All incidents were reported within Laguna Niguel unless otherwise noted.

Friday, August 2:
Disturbance. 1:05 a.m. 33000 block of Niguel Road. A caller reported that someone egged his limo at the St. Regis hotel. The person drove away in a van. (Dana Point)

Disturbance. 11:46 p.m. 30300 block of Via Reata. A caller reported that a man was standing in the courtyard singing songs about high school.

Saturday, August 3:
Suspicious Person/Circumstances. 11:41 a.m. 30100 block of Pacific Island Drive. A caller reported that new tenants moved in about six months ago, and he believed they were growing marijuana and selling it from their apartment. He could see fluorescent lights through the window and giant fans. He could also smell it.

Suspicious Person/Circumstances. 4:11 p.m. 34000 block of El Encanto Avenue. A caller found needles in the tire of his black Tahoe. (Dana Point)

Citizen Assist. 6:20 p.m. 25100 block of Via Piedra Blanca. A caller reported an ongoing dispute with his neighbor regarding cutting trees on his property. The desk advised him it was a civil issue, but he still insisted on speaking with a deputy.
