Crime: Man in Bigfoot Costume; Infant Alone In Car

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff’s Department July 26-27. All incidents were reported within Laguna Niguel unless otherwise noted.

Friday, July 26:
Disturbance. 12:11 a.m. 29300 block of Avocet Lane. A caller reported that someone threw a bottle at his house. It was becoming an ongoing problem from the “party house” on the street.

Suspicious Person/Circumstances. 6:00 p.m. 27300 block of Alicia Parkway. A caller reported that a 27-year-old man was on the bench outside of Coco’s and was bothering customers. The man had dark hair and was wearing black clothes and black shoes.

Saturday, July 27:
Welfare Check. 11:08 a.m. Crown Valley/Moulton Parkways. A caller reported that a 9-month-old baby was locked in a seafoam blue Toyota Sienna. She believed the parent was inside the bagel shop.

Suspicious Person/Circumstances. 1:57 p.m. Aliso Creek/La Paz Road. A caller reported that a man was wearing a Bigfoot costume. He was wearing a greenish camouflage mask.

Disturbance. 6:17 p.m. Camino Capistrano/Avery Parkway. A caller reported that people were taking wedding pictures on the train tracks at mile marker #195.
