Crime: Man Allegedly Throws Rocks At Caller’s Window; Crazy Neighbor

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff’s Department July 14-15. All incidents were reported within Laguna Niguel unless otherwise noted.

Sunday, July 14:
Suspicious Person/Circumstances. 2:14 a.m. 100 block of Chandon. A caller reported that she heard strange noises outside and saw the silhouette of a man. She was frightened.

Citizen Assist. 11:55 a.m. 28500 block of Rancho Maralena. A caller reported that she had a garage sale the previous day and sold a man a laptop and he gave her back a hard drive that didn’t belong to her laptop.

Monday, July 15:
Suspicious Person/Circumstances. 3:31 a.m. 29700 block of Niguel Road. A caller believed the father of her child was outside throwing rocks at her window. The man was 26 years old, of medium build and was wearing a blue shirt.

Disturbance. 3:34 a.m. 24200 block of El Pilar. A caller reported that his family called him from work to tell him that the crazy neighbor was outside bothering them.

Suspicious Person/Circumstances. 3:54 a.m. Unknown block of Martinique Street. A caller reported that he was hanging out in his car with his girlfriend, when a man in his 20s approached them and asked them for something. He couldn’t remember what it was, but he appeared to be on drugs. The man was of average build and was wearing a gray hoodie, jeans, and a backpack.
