Crime: Dog Feces On Patio; Human Feces On Park Slide

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff’s Department July 20-21. All incidents were reported within Laguna Niguel unless otherwise noted.

Saturday, July 20:
Vandalism Report. 10:53 a.m. Capri/Malibu. A caller reported that someone defecated on the slide at the park near the cross streets.

Citizen Assist. 4:54 p.m. Crown Valley Parkway/Community Park. A caller reported that he parked his car on Crown Valley and when he returned, he discovered a tree was on top of it. Public Works was notified.

Assist Outside Agency. 7:29 p.m. 0 block of Saint Paul Lane. Security called to report that a resident saw a bobcat and 3 cubs in her backyard.

Sunday, July 21:
Grand Theft Report. 10:21 a.m. Alicia Parkway/Avila Road. A caller reported that someone stole a power generator near the northeastern corner of the Walmart parking lot. The person took off in a 40’ Winnebago.

Welfare Check. 6:46 p.m. 27900 block of Niguel Heights. A caller reported that a man was yelling at his son while coaching him during conditioning. It occurred at Laguna Niguel Elementary. The caller was concerned for the child.

Disturbance. 6:51 p.m. 25200 block of Via Acapulco. A caller reported that his neighbor threw his dogs’ feces on his patio and windows. Another neighbor told him that the man was unstable and erratic.
