Crime: Couple Reports Relationship Squabble

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff’s Department June 8-9 in Laguna Niguel.

A caller reported that his fiancé threw a wine glass at him. The police determined no crime was committed and both parties agreed to separate for the night. The incident occurred on Sunday, June 9 at 1:10 a.m. on Seafare.

Here are more items from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department blotter. All incidents were reported within Laguna Niguel unless otherwise noted.

Sunday, June 9: Citizen Assist. 9:12 a.m. 24300 block of Borrego Court. A caller reported that certain items from his garage sale should not have been sold.

Suspicious Person/Circumstances. 11:32 p.m. Serenity Lane/Street of the Golden Lantern. A caller reported that 4-5 people kept getting in and out of a silver 4-door sedan at the dog park. He thought they might have been doing drugs.

Saturday, June 8: Disturbance. 12:52 p.m. 29700 block of Niguel Road. A caller reported that her neighbor, who is a martial arts expert, offered her 13-year-old son money to go with him to Dana Point and assault an older woman when he was drunk.  After the boy refused, he showed up at the family’s home and threatened them.

Welfare Check. 2:47 a.m. 33400 block of Nottingham Way. A caller required a welfare check on her her 21-year-old daughter. She texted her that she was fighting with her boyfriend and he punched her in the back while she was asleep. (Dana Point)
