Cop Calls: Mom Thinks She's in a 'Breaking Bad' Episode

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff’s Department October 8-October 9. Incidents reported from Dana Point are noted as such. Other incidents were reported in Laguna Niguel. 

Tuesday

  • A man was yelling in pain around 10:40 p.m. at the cross streets of Palermo and Firenze.
  • A caller reported that his mother was yelling aggressively at him and she believed she was in an episode of Breaking Bad. The incident occurred at 7:45 p.m. at the 28000 block of Edelweiss Court.
  • Loud rumbling noises were coming from a condo located at the 29400 block of Via Napoli around 2:45 a.m. The caller believed it may have been from his neighbor’s garage and it has become an ongoing problem for the last month.

Wednesday

  • A woman reported that her neighbor to the left was running a loud machine that woke her up. She reported the incident around 2:45 p.m. at the 29400 block of Via Napoli
  • A customer at Fred’s Tacos on Golden Lantern said a man hit him in the face for no reason around 12:45 a.m. He believed the establishment did not do anything about it because he was the boyfriend of one of the employees.
