Firefighters worked to rescue passengers trapped in an SUV that lost control and flipped on Niguel Road Monday morning.
At least one person was hospitalized when an SUV flipped on Niguel Road Monday morning, trapping its occupants in the upside down vehicle.
The accident occurred just after 11 a.m. near the intersection of Niguel Road and Crown Valley Parkway. Traffic was slowed as a rescue team worked to free the people inside the wreck.
“It was a rollover, and they had people trapped in the vehicle,” said Carrie Braun, a spokeswoman for the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. “There were no major injuries. One person was complaining of neck pain and was taken to the hospital.”
