Caller Reports Someone Took His Car for a Joyride

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff's Department on April 17 in Laguna Niguel.

A caller stated that his vehicle was at a repair shop in San Juan Capistrano when his insurance company informed him that someone drove it, crashed it and returned it to the shop. The incident was reported at 6:08 p.m. in the 24700 block of Camarillo Street in Dana Point.

Disturbance 4:06 p.m. 24600 block of Via Del Oro. A caller reported that his neighbor was yelling at his wife about a dog. He stated he was unsure where the couple lived..

Suspicious Person 1:57 p.m. 34200 block of Pacific Coast Highway. A caller reported that a male transient wearing a red shirt and gray pants was urinating on the side of the building. He was last seen in the alley behind the given location. (Dana Point)

Reckless Driving 5:16 p.m. Pacific Coast Highway/Street of the Golden Lantern. A caller reported that a 19 year-old man with a mohawk was cutting everyone off and swerving his car toward anyone that got next to him. He was driving a maroon or red Ford. (Dana Point)
