Bed Bath & Beyond Employee Reports Assault Threat

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff's Department from Sept. 12-15. The following arrest information was supplied by the O.C. Sheriff's Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A man called police to report being threatened at work. The man, who worked at , called on his lunch break and said two men threatened to assault him. The incident occurred Thursday at 2:40 p.m.

Citizen assist 9:43 p.m. Thursday. 28100 block of Moulton Parkway. A woman told police that three men came to the pool area of where she lived and claimed to be drug dealers looking for a man who owed them money.

Assist outside agency—arrest made 8:16 p.m. Thursday. 28200 block of Sorrento. A 22-year-old babysitter was jailed and held at the Musick women's jail.

Burglary in progress 2:27 a.m. Thursday. 24400 block of Howes Drive. A man reported hearing someone making noise in his residence.

Assist outside agency 4:08 p.m. Wednesday. Greenfield Drive/73 toll road. A caller told police that someone was going to jump from the northbound 73 toll road onto Greenfield.

Burglary report 1:33 p.m. Wednesday. 24400 block of Via Palomino Court. A vehicle was reported stolen.

Petty-theft report 8:13 a.m. Wednesday. 24400 block of Los Serranos Drive. A caller told police that after an unknown individual left a mean comment on her blog, someone stole her wind chimes. The caller thinks the two events are related.

Drunk in car—arrest made 10:05 p.m. Tuesday. Alicia Parkway/Pacific Island Drive. After a reported near collision between two vehicles, a 48-year-old unemployed woman was arrested. The woman was later released after posting bond.

Traffic stop—arrest made 5:37 p.m. Tuesday. Camino Capistrano/Avery Parkway. A 23-year-old salesman was arrested after police made a traffic stop. The man was later released after posting bond.

Shots heard 10:01 p.m. Monday. 0 block of Martinique Street. A caller told police they heard a series of shots on Golden Lantern and Marina Hills. The source of the noise could have been a firework.

Assist outside agency 9:38 a.m. Monday. 23900 block of Caravel Place. Police called for assistance after a woman in her 40s possibly overdosed on drugs.
