Drunks Reportedly Throw Pinecones, Attack Taxis

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff's Department from January 12–13.

A caller reported that a 20-year-old drunk male was wandering around the intersection of Hidden Hills Road and Sandling Court throwing pinecones. The subject was wearing a dark colored beanie, jacket and dark pants. The incident occurred on Sunday, January 13 at 5:02 a.m.

Sunday, Jan. 13:

Disturbance 9:11 p.m. 100 block of Calais Street. A caller reported that a man was hiding in his vehicle from the repo man.

Citizen Assist 4:23 p.m. 0 block of Coronado Pointe. A caller reported that her babysitter left her 2-year-old child by himself.

Saturday, Jan. 12:

Disturbance 7:14 a.m. 27900 block of Via Crespi. A caller reported that her 14-year-old daughter was out of control. She was biting her husband and throwing glass. The subject had brown hair and was wearing a gray and black jacket, black shirt and jeans.

Disturbance 12:51 a.m. 34600 block of the street of the Golden Lantern. A caller reported that four drunk subjects outside of Turks Restaurant were acting aggressive with taxi drivers and hitting their vehicles. (Dana Point)
