Alleged Starbucks Gas Mask Robber Pleads Not Guilty
The Orange County District Attorney has charged Kyle Kamal Starner of Laguna Niguel with four felonies stemming from robberies at a Local Starbucks and frozen yogurt shop.
, pleaded not guilty to four felony counts of robbery and burglary related to recent holdups at a local Starbucks and a Swirlz yogurt shop.
According to the Orange County District Attorney, Starner allegedly held up a Laguna Niguel frozen yogurt shop in November and a week later wore a gas mask while robbing a Starbucks in the same plaza.
Starner was taken into custody in Laguna Beach after he was spotted walking around town in an "extremely intoxicated" state and carrying a gas mask, Sheriff's Department spokesman Jim Amormino said.

Starner is charged with two counts of second-degree robbery by means of force and two counts of second-degree commercial burglary.
He is scheduled to be back in court on Dec. 12 for a pretrial hearing.
