A Laguna Niguel Motorcyclist Is Killed on Sunday
Reginald Daniel Futch Jr., 44, was killed after he struck a median on Marguerite Parkway in Mission Viejo, police say.
Reginald Daniel Futch Jr., of Laguna Niguel was killed on Sunday night when his Harley-Davidson motorcycle lost control and crashed into a median.
The crash occurred at 8:10 p.m. on Marguerite Parkway in Mission Viejo, south of Aldeano Drive, said Lt. Roland Chacon with the Orange County Sheriff's Department.
The 44-year-old Futch was pronounced dead at the scene Chacon said after failed CPR attempts by police.

"Witnesses told police that they observed him traveling at a very high rate of speed as he traveled southbound on Marguerite," Chacon said. "At some point, he lost control of the vehicle."
Chacone said the coronor was later called to the scene.

The Orange County Coroner's office said on Monday that the investigation is ongoing and was unable to give any further information.
