Gracie Pays Homage to Mom

The Laguna Niguel Patch columnist wanted to write a special poem for her mother, Barbara for Mother's Day.

My mom, she is the one who never left my side

She is the one who gave me life

She is the one who still tucks me in at night

She is the one who cuddles me precisely so right

She’s the one who helped me learn to walk …not once, but twice

She is the one who watches me dance

She is the one who had to take that chance

She is the one who went back to work for the bills and me

Yet she is the one who managed all these challenges beautifully

She’s the one who sometimes has to watch me fall

And she is the one who makes me stand tall

She is the one who did not expect this “Climb”

And she is the one who made sure everything turned out just fine

She is the one who makes me laugh

And she is the one who lead me through this difficult path

She is the one who helped me be brave

She is in the who still helps me behave J

She is the one who even though we fight sometimes….always makes it all end up right

She is the one who is proud of her Grace

She is the one who loves me in any case

She is the one who never doubted me even once

Thank you Mom for everything you have done.

Happy Mother’s Day

I love you.

She has and always be there for you, she is your biggest fan! You, Rachel, Krista & Michael are some pretty lucky kids to have her as a mom! Barbara, I'm feel blessed to know you and proud to have you as a friend. Happy Mother's Day!!! Xoxo
