Gracie Is Back at School

The middle schooler is looking forward to another exciting year at school and is already busy.

Well, it is back to school time.

I find it very strange that they have back-to-school supplies out the week after school gets out for summer. They were showing back to school ads on TV in July. It is crazy how fast the summer goes. 

I love school and couldn't wait to see my friends, but I didn’t want summer to end. We stayed local and spent a lot of time at the pool and beach. Laguna Niguel is such a great place, you don’t have to leave to have a great vacation.

It is fun because you get to see kids you haven’t seen since elementary school and some you just haven’t seen since school got out. 

I am looking forward to  my new class schedule and what PAL has in store.  One thing we are trying to do this year is a Disability Awareness Day in conjunction with Blue Ribbon () week. I look really forward to helping out with that among many other PAL activities.

Gracie, I love your positive attitude towards school! Best wishes for a wonderful 8th grade year. We look forward to seeing you December 7th at Girls Support Network for your presentation to our sixth grade girls :)
