Grab and Go: Men in Green Tights and Pumpkins

The first weekend of November brings all kinds of things to do in and around Laguna Niguel.

Friday, Nov. 2 – Sunday, Nov. 18  Robin Hood  The South Coast Repertory. Come out and see the legendary tale of Robin Hood with a contemporary twist on a medieval world – live music.  This performance designed for kids is full of tricks and fun as the audience must get involved in the action. Saturday, Nov. 2  Butterfly Day!  11 a.m. The Western Monarch Guardians, Joe & Priscilla Cruz, will be visiting Zoomars to teach an important lesson on preserving Monarch butterflies on Saturday. In addition to teaching visitors about the butterflies they will be bringing a butterfly tent so you can meet them up close and personal. Zoomars will also have butterfly crafts, coloring pages and information packets on how you can help save the Western Monarch butterfly. Visit zoomars.com or (949) 831-6550. Sunday, Nov. 4  Cruisin’ at the Cup  8-11 a.m. TNC’s Classic Car Show is a fun morning of classic cars and great coffee.  Drop by, meet wonderful people and hear stories about their cars as you stroll along the lanes. Sunday, Nov. 4  Family Sports – SNAG Golf  10 a.m to 2 p.m. SNAG Golf is a free recreational game for children 5+ that offers all the elements of golf but with modified equipment. This is the perfect introduction for children who have a curiosity and interest in the game, since SNAG Golf is between miniature golf and regulation golf.  Located on the North Lawn.  Visit ocpg.org or (866) 829-3829.  

Sunday, Nov. 4  Pumpkins and Paint Art Studio Session  Visit Pretend City Sunday as kids get to paint pumpkins for the fall.  There is no fee for this event as it is included with admission.  Infants 12 months and under are free.  Children and adults are $11.
