The FBI and Oceanside Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the unknown male responsible for robbing the Chase Bank branch located at 3748 Mission Avenue in Oceanside, California, on Friday, December 13, 2013.
On Friday, December 13, 2013, at approximately 11:17 a.m., an unknown male robbed the Chase Bank branch located at 3748 Mission Avenue in Oceanside, California, using a demand note. At the time of the robbery, the robber entered the bank and approached the victim teller. The robber passed a demand note to the teller along with a brown paper bag. The teller placed a sum of money inside the pager bag. The robber looked inside the bag and demanded more money from the teller. The teller complied with the robber’s demand and provided an additional sum of money. After receiving all the money provided by the teller, the robber exited the bank.
Witnesses describe the robber as follows:

- Race: Hispanic
- Age: Approximately 40 to 50 years old
- Height: Approximately 5’4” tall
- Weight: Approximately 160 to 180 pounds
- Build: Medium
- Hair: Unknown
- Clothing: Olive green jacket, black shirt with design on the front, tan/beige knit cap, and dark pants
