Hello Everyone,
Although I've been blogging for some time on my own site, this is my first blog on the Patch. My name is Jeanette Fratto and I've been a Laguna Niguel resident for 28 years. I have two adult children, and three grandchildren. I've enjoyed reading the Patch since I first learned about it three years ago, and occasionally I comment on an item of interest to me. Debbie Sklar has done a nice job keeping us apprised of local news and events. In the "it's a small world" department, Debbie's mother and I attended the same high school in Detroit, a couple of years apart. We did not know each other then and only came to learn of the coincidence when I met Debbie some years back.
I'll probably be blogging on an irregular basis about topics which I hope would be of interest to Patch readers. I've worn a few hats in my life, including a 26-year career in law enforcement, and now a career in novel writing, so those are areas you can expect to see me writing about. I love to do book reviews too, so I'm sure one or two will come up in the future.

Until the next blog, that's it for now. I wish all of you a Happy Thanksgiving.
