Community Corner

OC Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis

Come out for the 2nd annual OC Jingle Bell Run/Walk on Sunday, December 1st, to Crown Valley Community Park in Laguna Niguel to have some holiday fun and support the Arthritis Foundation.  There will be fun for the whole family, including a kids' zone with a bounce house, face painting, cookie decorating, crafts, and REAL SNOW.  You can also participate in the 5K timed run, the 5K walk with holiday themed entertainment and activities all along the route, and the Rudolph Ramble (a 1K fun run for ages 2-12.)

Arthritis is a serious disease affecting 53 million adults and 300,000 children in the U.S.  Did you know that 65% of those suffering from the 120 forms of arthritis (including Lupus, Gout, Fibromyalgia, Juvenile Arthritis) are under the age of 65?  It is a common misconception that arthritis only affects the elderly.  The Arthritis Foundation is dedicated to raising awareness and funds for research to find a cure.
