Famous Archaeologist Presents New Discoveries in Egypt, May 10

Travel back to ancient Egypt for a rare peek at her mystery-shrouded past on Saturday, May 10 at 1:30 PM at the Bowers Museum, 2002 North Main Street, Santa Ana.

This free slide presentation event is hosted by the American Research Center of Egypt, Orange County Chapter (ARCE). It will be held in the Norma Kershaw Auditorium of the Museum. The slide presentation by Dr. Aaron A. Burke, renowned archaeologist and Associate Professor, Near Eastern Archaeology at UCLA will highlight recent discoveries made at the Jaffa Cultural Heritage Project in Israel, formerly an Egyptian stronghold. Dr. Burke has directed the project since 2011.
