Dana Point Historical Society Annual Home Tour

You are invited to experience the  Prohibition Era of the 1920s, a time when "rumrunners"  smuggled bottled goods to the shores of "StillWater Bay".  Our 13th Annual Home Tour welcomes you to visit five hIstoric Spanish Colonial Revival style homes, c. 1928-1930, in Dana Point's  Lantern Village.  Sidney H. Woodruff, the Community Developer of Hollywoodland,  planned his dream seashore resort  in Dana Point.  Our charming Home Tour poster below is taken from his 1927 sales brochure.    Woodruff's original  home, now newly restored, will be open to visitors along with four others.  All are preserved, yet have evolved to meet the needs of successive owners over time.  StillWater Spirits & Sounds will host the afternoon reception in their  historic location, the original sales auditorium of S. H. Woodruff.  Your attendance will support the major fundraiser for the Dana Point Historical Society's mission to preserve our history and maintain the DPHS  Museum in City Hall.    Please scroll down for ticket information.  Tickets are also on sale at the Dana Point Chamber of Commerce.
