PHOTOS: Everybody Loves a Parade—Even Gold Medalists!

The annual Laguna Niguel Holiday Parade's theme this year was 'Honoring Our Heroes,' and there were plenty who attended the event, as well as many who participated.

Everybody loves a good parade, and that was the exact feeling at this year's Laguna Niguel Holiday Parade.

On Saturday, thousands lined the streets in our city to celebrate the holidays with friends, family, and neighbors.

This year's parade theme was 'Honoring Heroes' and featured many including 2012 Olympic gold medalists, native McKayla Maroney and Kyla Ross.

Also particpating classic cars, city officials and other sports figures who walked the parade route along Crown Valley Parkway.

The parade is the city's most popular event and draws people from near and far, as well as all ages.

I hit enter in the comment and it posted - I wasn't done! Why would it post if you don't clickRead More "post comment"?! I read one story and the scrunched up left placement gave me a headache. The ad column on the right is way too big - too wide. If they made that smaller, swapped the "board" column and the news (so the news was in the middle), I think it would be easier to read.
