It is perhaps one of the most anticipated stores to come to Laguna Niguel in years.
Construction at Whole Foods Market is progressing smoothly and could be open before the start of summer, according to store officials.
"Behind the scenes we are assembling our store leadership, department team leaders and team members," said team member Maria Mugica.

In addition, crews are busy working on the front facade of the building and they have recently added steel beams and archways to its front. Interior work also continues at the store that was once a Tall Mouse craft store.
The market already has its team leader in place, Norm Shaughnessy, 50, who Patch wrote about in December.
