Welcome, Whole Foods—Maybe?

After months of no activity, the grocery chain has hung a banner screaming its name on the facade of the former Tall Mouse craft store that closed its doors last summer.

It's been quiet at the old Tall Mouse craft store that shut its doors last summer.

It was that Whole Foods had signed at lease at 23922 Aliso Creek Rd., in the Aliso Creek Village Plaza. The mega craft store was  36,600 square feet and closed its doors after a huge liquidation sale July 15.

Winter came and went, and spring is on its way out. However, representatives still won't say much in terms of developments.

The only statement given to Laguna Niguel Patch over the last several months when inquring has been, "Whole Foods is excited to be in the Laguna Niguel neighborhood."

The interior is still the same as it looked when Tall Mouse departed, leaving behind only the store's fixtures, but the banner might be an indication that things are going to start soon.
